Welcome to our site! Our Gold Coast chapter was formed in July, 1993 with the goal to help women grow both professionally and personally. Our chapter is active with meetings held the second Wednesday of every month, you may download a schedule here. Annual Fundraiser- Pompano Beach Seafood Fest!

Come out and volunteer your time to help our chapter raise money!! You can volunteer yourself, and a friend / spouse.  This festival has been going on for many years to support local organizations like ours. Gold Coast is one of the 11 not for profit organizations that participate in this event! Proceeds from the success of the festival are evenly distributed to all 11 organizations. The portion of funds we make on this event is used to support local charities of our choice, as well as help our members go to the WIFS National Conference for education and mentoring.  Our commitment means that the Gold Coast chapter is responsible in providing volunteers!  Join us, there is no cost to you just a few hours of your time! We promise you it is a lot of fun!!! The honor of ringing the opening bell comes in celebration of the Women in Insurance and Financial Services (WIFS) 75th Anniversary.

 

Karen Roberts is the National President of WIFS, and a long standing member of Gold Coast. She currently serving a second term. You can also read an article about Karen online or by picking up the SunSentinel paper as the article was released today Monday 12/19/11.
